I got the idea for this album from a visit to the Astúlez Castle, which stands on a rocky spire in the Valdegovía valley in Spain. This building rises on a promontory rocky ledge practically inaccessible, reinforced by a high wall that surrounds it.
Despite its glorious past and its position of dominance in the region, it is now a forgotten structure invaded by nature, miles from the nearest road. Its ruinous state invaded by greenery provides a glimpse of a old tale.
This album format is composed by 10 musical pieces in the shape of a musical story.

The castle, once so grand and tall,
Now stands abandoned, forgotten by all,
Its walls now covered in vines and weeds,
A ghostly shell of a castle it used to be.

The vines twist and twine around each stone,
Like the grip of time that cannot be disowned,
They creep along the walls, up to the sky,
A green shroud that hides the castle's sigh.

But in the midst of all the decay,
A sense of beauty, that will not fade away,
For amidst the vines, there is still grace,
A haunting charm, in this forgotten place.
